Joan's Beach Cottage

Beautiful cottage, very comfortable Positive: This was such a comfortable cottage, very clean, with all the appliances we could want. Lovely and warm, the underfloor heating in the bathroom was a luxurious touch! Tastefully decorated. Negative: The parking in the front was a tight squeeze (but do-able) for our people mover, but plenty of space in the driveway if I didn't feel up to the challenge.

Very good property with just a couple of elements that might be improved. Positive: Property layout was very good, as was the location. Secure parking also a comfort. Negative: No toilet paper on arrival but shops not far away. Also, a security light activated by movement would be useful as my wife had a nasty fall on the front door stoop when approaching the property in darkness.

We loved everything about our stay, location and accommodation was excellent. Would love to return.

A beautiful experience for my first time on the peninsula Positive: A beautiful cottage in a lovely location, close to the sea yet tucked away in a quiet residential street. I appreciated the quiet, the excellent facilities, and the lovely shower. It is the first time I have stayed in a property with an air fryer - an appliance I use every day at home - and this was excellent as I was travelling alone and didn't want to put on the oven just to warm a single small item. It was a nice touch to be welcomed with shortbread, and I appreciated info about the shortcut to the nearby reserve. Negative: A softer mattress topper would have made the bed more comfortable- but really everything was lovely. I would love to return.

Positive: Lovely quiet and private stay. Very comfortable with everything you could need provided. Negative: The floors were particularly dirty but management promptly provided a mop when requested.
